Explorer's Class 

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:20 am - 11:00 am

The Explorers Class is a mixed-age course for children 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. The curriculum focuses on play-based, hands-on learning, with more structure than the Pioneer curriculum. The Explorers program features kindergarten readiness activities, appropriate for each child’s individual developmental level. Small group and table activities as well as daily circle time, art, music, science and large motor activities are part of the Explorer’s curriculum. This program is designed for new and returning children whose parents desire the consistency of a three day per week program. 

*Children must be 3 years of age by March 1, 2025, to enroll in the Explorers Class.

• Tuition: $125.00/month for 9 months

• Class Size: Approximately 16 children (1:8 staff/child ratio)

Adventurer's Class

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 12:20 pm - 3:00 pm

The Adventurers program is a Kindergarten readiness class for 3 to 5 year old children. In this Pre-K class, we continue to offer a play-based program that is developmentally appropriate for kids who will be heading off to Kindergarten in the following year. The curriculum focuses on language development, problem-solving, letter/number awareness and hands-on science experiments. We encourage opportunities for sharing, negotiating and self-expression. Each day we have circle time, art, music and movement, and fine motor activities. This class is an excellent choice for children and parents who are looking for a more structured readiness program. 

*Children must be 3 years of age by September 1, 2024, to enroll in the Adventurer's Class.

• Tuition: $125.00/month for 9 months

• Class size: Approximately 16 children (1:8 staff/child ratio)

Trailblazer's Class

Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

The Trailblazers course is designed for children ages 2 1/2 to 4 years of age. Play-based learning is the focus of this curriculum. Activities are hands-on and developmentally based. Circle Time, art, music, and movement activities are provided each day. This Class in an excellent choice for younger or first-time preschoolers. 

*Children must be 3 years of age by March 1, 2025, to enroll in the Trailblazer's Class.

• Tuition $115.00/month for 9 months

• Class size: Approximately 6 children (1:6 staff/child ratio)

More Information

• A $110.00 per child, non-refundable, registration fee is charged at the time of enrollment.

• Although encouraged, it is not necessary for children to be independent with the use of the toilet to attend Kiel Cooperative Preschool.

• Parents who wish to have their child attend four or five days per week may enroll in more than one class if available.

• Children may attend KCP in addition to a public school-sponsored 4K program. Often, parents feel this provides an excellent transition to full-day, every day Kindergarten. Contact us to learn about flexible scheduling options.

• Age requirements and class sizes may be adjusted at the discretion of the director, based on children's needs and ages.

• KCP’s curriculum meets or exceeds all of the revised Wisconsin Early Learning Standards.
